Be Aware of the behind the scenes work
- We took several members of our worship team to a Phil Wickham concert in October to be encouraged and dialogue about worship in song.
- We held 3 corporate prayer gatherings in October.
- We’ve been recording all our services so that up-front leaders and team members can watch themselves in order to grow in their leadership.
- We’ve been refining our song library in accord with the refining of our vision.
- *** For the purpose of deeper equipping Pastor Matt, Jeremy Phillips, and Johnny Hindman spent 1.5 hours talking about worship leading (via Cisco WebX technology) with two very well known and experienced worship leaders in Nashville: Carl Cartee and Aaron Blanton (founding member of Sonic Flood). ** A recording of this video call is available for our worship team leaders upon request **

The New Language & Culture

One of our goals for this series was to create a common language for worship at Fellowship Raleigh.
- 24-7 “worth-ship”
- worship with poles
- God is seeking worshippers who worship Him by Spirit and Truth
- Jesus is our Singing Savior and is the key to our worship (Heb. 2:12)
- With the Holy Spirit we are not”open BUT cautious,” rather we are “open AND discerning” (1 Thess. 5:19-21)
- Spirit-filled worship is horizontal (to one another) and vertical (to God)
- Revelation and Response
- Spiritual Habit Forming Liturgy
- Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength Worship
The Visible and Practical Changes
- Sanctuary & Stage redesign- We are in the process of a big re-design and overhaul of our stage and sanctuary. Our end goal is to eliminate distractions, help people to better focus in worship, and communicate the vision of our church with the way our sanctuary feels upon a first impression.
