Finding Community in your Church

Finding real friends in your church can be a challenge. Sometimes we over sell and pump up that being in a small group will fix everything and then it doesn’t. We all have a God given desire for authentic community and friendship. I think it is kind of like the game TETRIS, where we all know it is important that we make the correct, timely, and strategic moves in light of the unique game we are playing. I thought this was an interesting article about how “medium size” churches can be the hardest for connecting (not big churches!) because people tend to still bring “small church” expectations to a church that is not small. Read the article, “The Bane of the Small Medium-Sized Church” by Pastor Michael McKinley. This dude has a good point.
