Integrating Faith & Work

I am really excited about the sermon tomorrow morning from Ephesians 6:5-9 on Faith & Work. I am going to talk about this popular bumper sticker slogan, “My boss is a Jewish Carpenter.” Is this slogan good or bad for faith & work??  Christians really really need help integrating faith & work.

Three Charges to Christian Employees (5-8)
1. Maintain a REVERENCE toward your boss (5a)
2. Cultivate a SINCERE HEART for the work you do (5b-6)
3. Work with ETERNAL AMBITION (7-8)

Two Charges to Christian Employers (9)
1. Seek the GOOD of your employees (9a)
2. Operate as one who is also ACCOUNTABLE to Jesus Christ (9b)
